A new video has emerged of what might have been the last moments of Kim Jong Un's oldest brother after his alleged assassination this February.

The CCTV footage, which was first broadcast by Japan's Fuji TV on Sunday, shows a seemingly unconscious Kim Jong Nam being wheeled off in a stretcher at Kuala Lumpur International Airport after a purported chemical attack.

Two women are suspected of killing Kim by smearing two parts of VX, a nerve agent banned by the UN as a weapon of mass destruction, on his face.

The women, Vietnamese national Doan Thi Huong and Indonesian Siti Aisyah, are currently on trial for his murder in Malaysia. The trial is currently in its second week and expects to run until November 30, according to Reuters. They face the death penalty if convicted.

On Tuesday, Malaysian government chemist Raja Subramaniam testified that Kim had 1.4 times the lethal dosage of VX on his face, the Associated Press reported.

But Raja said that the chemicals the women had were not enough by themselves to kill him, suggesting that some other element was involved in his death. It was not clear what he had in mind.

Both women have told their lawyers that they thought they were carrying out a prank for a reality TV show, and are expected to maintain their innocence throughout the trial, Reuters reported.

The women were groomed for months to carry out the attack by North Korean agents, according to a GQ investigation. Security footage from two days before the attack showed Doan wiping something on another person's face around the same area as the Kim attack, the trial heard, Sky News reported.

Kim Jong Nam, the oldest son of former supreme leader Kim Jong Il, lived in exile in Macau for years, according to Reuters.

He also had a reputation for using prostitutes, GQ said.

"Pyongyang wanted to send a worldwide message by murdering Kim Jong Nam in this gruesome, public way," Nam Sung Wook, a former director of the Institute for National Security Strategy think tank, told GQ.
