Sirloin steak and chocolate lava cake were on the menu at a dinner between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam on Wednesday evening.
The leaders sat down to eat at 7 p.m. local (7 a.m. ET) after a 20-minute one-on-one meeting at the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi.
A copy of the menu was published by the White House pool report, during the second in-person meeting between Kim and the US president.
Here's what the chefs had in store for Trump and Kim.
Course 1:
Shrimp cocktail, romaine leaves, thousand island dressing, diced avocado, fresh lemon and herbs
Course 2:
Marinated tender sirloin grilled with sauce, served with kimchi fermented inside a pear.
Course 3:
Chocolate lava cake, chocolate crumble, wish fresh berries and vanilla ice cream.
Course 4:
Dried Persimmon and honey punch.
Joining Trump at the dinner was US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; the acting White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney; and an interpreter, Yun-hyang Lee.
Joining Kim at dinner was the high-ranking North Korean official Kim Yong Chol; the country's foreign minister, Ri Yong Ho; and an interpreter, Sin Hye Yong.

White House and North Korean officials were reportedly stuck in a last-minute back-and-forth over the menu. CNN said the US delegation was keen to keep the menu "super simple".
The final version appears to suit Trump's tastes, include his well-known fondness for steak.
Earlier that day, Trump attended a working lunch with Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, where the menu was Vietnamese and significantly more dedcadent:
Course 1:
Fresh shredded green mango salad with scallops, mint leaves and cashew nuts served in a sweet vinaigrette dressing.
Course 2:
Deep fried Hanoi style spring rolls with shrimp, pork, vermicelli, and vegetables served with a side of sweet and sour fish sauce and red chillies.
Course 3:
King crab meat and spinach in a light seafood-based broth
Course 4:
Grilled cod fish "cha ca"; roasted Wagyu beef medallions with foie gras and a semi-sweet fermented black rice sauce; sautéed "su su" vegetables with garlic (crispy green chayote stems and leaves); steamed sticky glutinous rice with shrimp wrapped in a lotus leaf.
Course 5:
A traditional Vietnamese dessert consisting of lotus seeds, longans, and white wood-ear mushrooms served warm and in a light sugary syrup.
Editor's Note: An earlier version of this post reported a different, more elaborate menu for Donald Trump's meal with Kim Jong Un. This was in fact the menu for Donald Trump's earlier lunch with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
